Happy Belated Thanksgiving!
Head to rump, your baby is approximately 5 1/2 inches long (about the length of a bell pepper) and weighs almost 7 ounces. He's busy flexing his arms and legs — movements that you'll start noticing more and more in the weeks ahead. If you're having a girl, her uterus and fallopian tubes are formed and in place. If you're having a boy, his genitals are noticeable now, although he may hide them from you during an ultrasound.
Jeff and I have an appointment on 12/10 to have an ultrasound and find out the sex of the baby! We were on the fence about it before because we wanted it to be a surprise. But, I figured this way we can start planning ahead. I know people who didn't find out an never got their nursery done and had to do it after the baby was born. who would want to do that?!
So that's the news! Hope everyone is doing well and starts using this damn thing a little more often! And it doesn't have to just be us kids....parents can use it too! ::GASP!:: I know it's crazy! It's new technology and all. Ask your kids, they'll teach you.
Love

Hey
HI everyone,
Not too much new here. Don and I went to a Moroccan Cooking Class yesterday in DC. Very cool! (see photos).
I am 'starting' work today. Not really, just meeting the person I will be working for. I was picked up by General Dynamics, and I am working at an off-site. So I will hopefully start sometime this week. We'll see.
I rented my townhouse out this past week. So that is a step in the right direction. :) Otherwise that is all my news...
Take care!

My weekend
What an AMAZING weekend....
Saturday started with coffee, bagels and a trip to REI to get fitted for a Backpack for our Mt Washington climb in january! At noon I took my teaching license test. Then we met at a friends house for a birthday party.
That night we went to the Shenandoah National Park and camped next to a stream. We brought the dogs and had Sunchips and hot dogs with wine and s'mores. Milo decided he earned the right to sleep on the sleeping pad since it was his first time camping. So I woke up on half the mat with a shivering German Shepherd curled up at my head.
After we cleaned up camp we headed to a trail in side the park that the boys could be on too. The Shenandoah only offers a few trails for dogs so it we were limited to where we could go. The Hike was AMAZING!! The trees are SO BEAUTIFUL! (photo posted soon!)
After the trail we stopped at a great Mexican restaurant for a late breakfast (1030) and then headed to Middleburg, VA to get on the Mt Bikes. Butch found a great trail for us in our new book where you bike the trails/dirt roads to vineyards! SO AWESOME! We stopped at a Swedenburg Vineyard and had a glass of wine and sat on the edge of the field and enjoyed the area. The bought a bottle there and rode back to the town where we stopped at a wine cellar. Bought another bottle and then headed to the truck where the boys were waiting.
On the trip back to the house, we stopped for dinner at a "kabob" place. But it was more middle eastern then your average kabob.....IT WAS SO GOOD! We couldn't get enough of the food. Very Authentic.
That night we went to see Cirques Del Soul - Kooza at the National Harbor. It was a WONDERFUL SHOW! We had 2nd row seats!
